About NameWheelPick
A random name wheel for rooms that are watching — classrooms, contests, giveaways, and groups that need a fair pick everyone can see.
Most name wheels ask you to hand over a list of real people before they will do anything useful. NameWheelPick takes the opposite approach: your list stays in your own browser, and the draw happens there too.
What we build
There is one public product: a random name picker with an optional live spin wheel. Paste names, sit people out, pick one or more winners, remove winners as you go, choose how long the wheel spins, present full screen, and celebrate the result. Nothing to install. No account to create for the public tool.
How fairness works
Every active name has an equal chance. The winner is chosen with the cryptographic random number generator built into your browser, then the wheel spins to that person. The animation is the reveal, not the decision. That design keeps classrooms, contests, and livestreams honest when the room is watching.
Who it is for
- Teachers picking students fairly
- Hosts running raffles, giveaways, and prize draws
- Teams choosing who presents or goes first
- Groups breaking a deadlock with a visible spin

Privacy by default
Lists are saved in local browser storage on this device. They are not uploaded to our servers for the public picker, and they never appear in the page URL. Read the full story on the Privacy Policy.
